Vehicle manufacturers do their best to make cars and trucks that measure up to the strictest safety standards. Sometimes, there is a problem. At these times, the dealer or the NHTSA will issue a vehicle recall. What does this mean to you?

When a vehicle is recalled, the vehicle manufacturer is supposed to send a letter concerning the details of the recall to everyone that owns the particular model that is being recalled. This recall letter will give instructions as to how to proceed. Usually, you will be instructed to call a dealer, such as Redding Kia in Redding, CA, and make an appointment to have the recalled part repaired or replaced.

You will not have to pay for the recalled part nor will you have to pay for the work to fix the recalled item. If you think that your vehicle may have a recall notice, the NHTSA website has updated recall information.
